For the unmanned operation system in container terminal, un-manned rubber tired yard crane is thought to be an effective method. But there exist several difficulties which cannot be solved with conventional control method. The authors applied learning algorithm for those problems and had satisfiable results with computer simulation. Those results are now on confirming in performance test with actual machine.
