An image segmentation algorithm based on wavelet transform and clustering

摘要

An image segmentation algorithm based on wavelet transform and dynamic clustering is discussed in this paper. We use wavelet transform to draw the edge information form the original image, then combine the edge information and the grayscale information of the image together for clustering. The experiments we have done show that the result of segmentation using the new algorithm is satisfying.
