The accuracy in measuring cup-mixing temperature of water is discussed for a cylindrical mixing chamber in which baffle plates with small holes are inserted. The temperatures measured by the chamber connected at the outlet of an electrically heated vertical or horizontal tube are compared with those predicted from the heat input and flow rate of water.
