Methane Emission Control in the Russian Gas Industry

For the past 200 years atmospheric methane concentrations have increased from 0.8 to 1.65 ppm. The past 160,000 have never seen such fluctuations in methane concentrations: the highest increment during some 100,000 years was only 0.5 ppm. It was only after 1950 when a major increment occurred.
