The main operating parameters affecting the direct oxidation of isoprene to citraconic anhydride (CA,methylmaleic anhydride) over a V/Ti/O-based catalyst are examined.It was found that the oxygen-to-isoprene ratio in the feed has a considerable influence on the selectivity to CA.
