A study on the relationship between impeller loading distribution and cavitation inception

摘要

This report presents relationship between impeller loading distribution and incipient cavitation performance concerning various types of pump impellers. Influential geometrical factors to the cavitation performance were also studied for parameters. This report also contains discussions of comparison between impeller flow patterns calculated with the computational flow analysis and the cavitation occurrence. In addition, a designing method that improves incipient cavitation performance is suggested.
