摘要

We have developed a fast MicroWave radiometric imaging system (MWI) which realizes thermal images with a good spatial resolution. We are making at the present time, a large clinical evaluation for the breast tumor characterization in an earlystage. A Received Operating Curve (ROC) statistical analyze in an intermediate stage of 60 patients, gives a sensibility and a specificity up to 80%. We show here that this technique could complete the non-invasive radiological outcome in terms ofbenign-malignant characterization. Moreover, the use of an inverse problem technique in the spatial frequency domain gives a quantitative measurement of cancer temperature. It is now possible to consider in a new application such as the followed of thetemperature during a chimiotherapy treatment.
