摘要

Two series of polyurethane elastomers were filled with different concentrations of alumina having different particle size and their abrasion resistance measured. Dynamic mechanical and thermomechanical analysis were used to determine Tg and viscoelastic properties of the materials. Tensile strength and elongation at break were found to decrease with increasing filler concentration. It has been found that larger particle size and higher concentration of the filler give improved abrasion resistance.
