摘要

Due to the chemical nature of polycondensates, chemical interactions could take place among the chains of the blends during processing. The interaction depended strongly on the initial miscibility of the homopolymers in the molten state and on the processing conditions. In turn, these interactions could affect the morphology and properties of the blends. The compatibility of blends is studied and interpreted possibly with ester-amide reaction and molecular motions in the melt states under various mixing conditions. Rate of crystallization and the thermal properties of the blends are also studied under various conditions.
