Aim of the work was to find out the relationship between the 3rd order intermodulation-signal generated by cable assemblies and the stimulating power level. The theoretical relationship will be described, and statistically evaluated results ofmeasurements of different types of cable assemblies will be presented and discussed. Possible reasons and proposals for further investigations will be given.
