recently, alfa-stable probability models-those described analytically by characteristic functins having the generic , Finaly, the relevance of this work for example, to Detection and Estimation, is immedite and well-known [1],[3]-[5], [10]; the (correct) physical noise model sigificantly influences the optimum, and the practical, near-optimum, threshold algorithms and performance of detection and estimation systems.
