In order to obtain a controlled release system, encapsulation is in many cases the most commonly applied technology. In many consumer applications, encapsulation is applied for protection, stagbilizations, encapsulation is applied for protection, stabilization, easier handling purposes, and controlled or targeted release of an encapsulant. Although the release behavior of an encapsulated component is strongly determined by the morphology of a product, there is limited attention for the parameters that are affecting the formation of different morphologies.
