Behavior of tin removal from tinplate in packed bed type scrap melting process

摘要

It is concluded that tin is removed from tinplate in packed bed type scrap melting process and a very high tin removal ratio can be achieved, by attributing to vaporization of SnO and SnS generated from tin oxidation and tin sulfurization with sulfur in coke on the surface of tinplate at high temperature zone in the furnace.
