摘要

Micropyretic synthesis of C, C - 6% Si, and C - 10% Si showed an increase in the combustion temperature with firing temperature. The density and flexural strength decreased while electrical resistivity increased with firing temperature. The oxidation resistance of C - 6% Si was found to be superior to the conventional cathode, MPS cathode and anode. C -Si composites may be considered for cell construction material for aluminum electrowinning.
