Non-uniform current distribution in a large scale superconductor causes various problems. To solve those problems, we propose the parallel sub-conductor system in which the main conductor is composed of sub-conductors arranged in parallel and connected to individual power supplies. Thus, the current distribution among the sub-conductors can be actively controlled. We performed an experiment of two parallel wires system using a small model coil. It was demonstrated a current was quickly transferred from a sub-wire to the other and also that the stability was improved by transferring the current of a quenched sub-wire to the other.
