Over the last decade, the quantity of LNG supply in Korea by Korea Gas Corporation (Koas) has been growing rapidly. To keep pace with the increasing supply, Logas has stepped up its efforts for environmental management. Since 1996 thecompany has reorganized its structure in view of harmonizing the environmental responsibilities with other concerns like safety management and quality control. Kogas also promotes R&D in the areas of energy conservation, accident prevention and high-efficiency gas appliances.
