The behaviors of MCFCs using Li/K and Li/Na as the electrolyte at high pressure

Pressurized operation test of MCFC provide the estimation of the cell life limited by NiO cathode dissolution in a short time. However, the performance at higher pressures than 10 atm is not known. Especially, performance dependence on the cathode gas partial pressure is interesting. We had examined the Li/K cell and Li/Na cell performances at higher pressures, and obtained the following results.
