摘要

We consider adsorption of a fluid on a nanopore with noncircular cross section. In a phenomenological theory based on an effective interfacial potential (1), the s hape and thickness of the surface layer is calculated. A preference for adsporption in zones of high curvature of the pore surface is demonstrated with a tendency to formation of a circular effective pore of highly reduced radius(2). The results are verified by a numerical simulation using the Monte Carlo method for a model Lenard Jones fluid.
