Comparison of two methods for modeling thin regions in eddy current non-destructive testing

This paper compares two models of thin regions in the context of non destructive testing applications. The models are developed in the finite element method using overlapping and shell elements, respectively. An example is implemented with 2D magnetodynamic formulations.
