Ebspac: a computer code for evaluating the performance of the engineered barrier system for HLW disposal

摘要

A computer code has been developed to model processes affecting the performance of the waste packages and the release of radionuclides from the engineered barrier system at the proposed repository at the Yucca Mountain.It is primarily designed for performing probabilistic calculations under the framework of the Total-system Performance Assessment code.This paper highlights modeling approaches to various processes considered in the code.
