Heterogeneous Catalysis with Ion-Exchangers in Polysiloxane Synthesis

摘要

An overview of our results in using the acid or basic synthetic ion-exchangers (IE) as catalysts in order to obtain an wide variety of silox-ane compounds reactions is presented. The ionites behavior and the reaction kinetics were studied. In a certain temperature range, without solvent, and under stirring, their utilization shows numerous advantages over the homogeneous acid/basic catalysis.
