摘要

We made the new model of Distinct Element Method (DEM) and tried to simulate the interaction between soil and tire by this new model. We modified the conventional DEM to represent the phenomenon of soil adhesion. This paper reports the principle of this new DEM model and the result of the simulation in which we tried to change the condition for instance, traction and the shape of lug cross section. The result of this simulation indicates that this new model of the soil behavior is more similar to the real one than the conventional DEM model.
