The Equilibrium Electrochemical Synthesis Diagrams (EESD-s) have been introduced, which enable us to find parameters (potentials and temperatures), at which a desired boride phase can be obtained by electrochemical synthesis technique from molten salts. The EESD of the Ti-B system has been constructed, as an example. Comparing this diagram with realistic deposition potentials of Boron and Titanium in all possible chloride, fluoride and oxide systems, a conclusion was drawn, that the only possible phase is Titanium Diboride (TiB_2) which will be synthesised from molten salts containing Titanium and Boron ions.
