A new liquid surfactant membrane (LSM) system for preparing co-precipitate BaTiO(C_2O_4)_2, the intermediate product of BaTiO3, directly in internal aq. phase was proposed. Ba~(2+) was used as feed, TiO~(2+) and H_2C_2O_4 as stripping agent, HEH[EHP] as carrier. The influences of the initial pH of internal aq. phase on the permeation of Ba~(2+) and the corresponding final pH on the ratio of Ti to Ba in co-ppt. were investigated in particular. X Ray diffraction scanning curves confirmed that the composition of co-ppt. obtained was surely barium titanyl oxalate with Ti:Ba in 1:1 i.e. BaTiO(C_2O_4)_2, and the composition of its roast was really barium metatitanate with Ti:Ba in 1:1 too, i.e. BaTiO_3.
