Artificial Life (AL; [1]) studies all kinds of biologicla phenomena as they occur in artificial orgnaisms.neural Netowrks (NNs; [2]) are commonly used in Al research as ocmputational models of nervous systms tha tocntol organisms' behavior.However,orgnaisms do not only posses nervous systmes and other phoenotyppicla traits but also genetic informaiton strored in the nucleus of their cells (genotype).
