摘要

In this article, the diffusion law of solute in Newtonian-dipolar fluid flow through a circular tube is studied. The expressions of velocity profile, flow flux, relative concentration distribution and equivalent diffusion coefficient are derived using dipolar fluid theory and Taylor's assumption. The numerical computations are performed and the effects of peripheral layer and dipolar parameters on those quantities are analyzed. The problems treated in Refs. [6] and [9] may be considered as special cases presented herein.
