A Bi-Cache Strategy for Mobility Management in PCS

In previous works, people suggest recording location of callee after callign it, when another call originates for it, this location is searched first. Some paper suggest to maintain a local storage (or cache) of user's location at the MSC and analysis has been made. But the model assumes caller to be fixed, so, in this paper, a model where caller is also roaming is given. And because caller is also roaming, probably it is in a differnt MSC area when it calls again, and the new MSC didn't record the callee's location. So using caller's profile to record location of callees seems better. Unfortunately, it's impossible of caller to use a large space for recording. In this paper, a bi-cache strategy combining these two technique is proposed. It can be proved that it works better than any of them.
