Analysis of Flow Control Model with ABR Service Characteristic in ATM network

摘要

ABR (Available Bit Rate) service will sytematically and dynamically allocate available bandwidth to users by controllign the flow of traffic with feedback. Therefore, a new queuing model with feedback G/G/1(R)/S/FAFS is set up for the support of ABR service in ATM network. A mathematical anlaysis of the model has been conducted according to the probability theory, and computer simulation has been used in this paper.
