The application of the modifier in the synthesis proces sof calcium alminate hydrate

摘要

Acting as inorganic flame retardant, calcium aluminate hydrate (CAH) is of the better flame resistant, it has the ability in absorbing smoking articles and certain poisonous gases. By applying the modifier, the crystal-growing was depressed, and modified micro-granular CAH that has active material on its surface was attained in the process of CAH synthesizing. It is proved that the applying of the modifier can enhance effectively the affinity between CAH and polymers and decrease the polymeric mechanical properties lost caused by adding inorganic additives.
