In this paper, the mechanism of testing the compressibility of synthetic oils under ultra-high pressure is analyzed, and a set of test apparatus according to this mechanism is designed. The compressibility of many synthetic oils is tested. An ultra-high pressure sensor is used in this test, and two kinds of mathematical models to fit the test data are adopted. Some comparative analysis are made. From these results, the relations of compressibility and pressure are obtained. In this paper, some analysis about the friction caused by the sealing components under ultra-high pressure are also given.
