In respect to CAD/CAm of color picture tube deflection yoke winding mold, there is some defect in modelling o spatial free curved surface using coons curved surface method, and the transition of free curved surface and other curved surfaces is not slick, result in low accuracy in NC machining, now Bi-cubic B-spline curved surface modelling method is used in modelling of free curved surface in die and the smooth transition of free curved surface and other kind fo curved surfaces, together with the plane. Base on it the surface data ofdie can be abstracted to generate the NC data. So the accuracy of NC machining of winding mold can be improved.
