Studies on the relations between the colloidal structre and performance of calcium alkylsalicylates with different TBN

摘要

The characteristics and performances of several calcium alkylaslicylates with different TBN,especially super-overbased products which were porducted via different co-promoters,wer studied.The relations between the content of alkaline ocmponents and TBN of detergent as well as micellar stability were studied accordingly y Thermogravimetry Analysis and Infrared Absorption mehtods.The diameter and the sitribution of loading-carrying (carbonate-containing) micelle were measured by freeze-etching replicatin and electron microscopic observation method.Four-balls machine tests were used to study teh anti-wear performance of series of calcium alkylsalicylate products with different TBN.
