Systems Thinking for Dynamics of Korea Information Infrastructure

In order to advance Korea information infrastructure, Korean government addressed diverse policy measures including a construction plan of KII, a basic plan for informatization of Korea society, and an integration policy between telecommunication and broadcastin sectors. As information pilicies become too complicated to be understoodin the traditional policy framework, we designed and recommended lots of policy directions using systems thinking. In this paper, we report how we recommended policy directions during the last three years in the frame of systems thinking, particularly causal maps and system dynamics. The first section of this pape descibes our framework to perceie changing environment of information policy.
