An industrial classification is a systematic categorization of all the industries based on certain classification rules and standards to classify, according to the characteristics, various economic activities carried out by individual economic entities. The primary pupose of drawing up an industrial classificato system is to accurately understand the industial structure of a national economy and to proivde necessary informations in solving any problems might occur fro meconomi activities. AN industrial classification system can be especially useful not only in providing various statistic indies needed for the development ofindustril policies, but also in setting hte crieria for deciding the taget of industrial policies. We can understand this as a similar process with the medical practice where surgical treatment and internal treatment are performed by different doctors to ensure a precise and effective treatment and prescription.
