The plant building of the Xiqiguo Workshop of FUSHUN 1st petroleum plant is located in the north side of the West Surfase Coal Mine, where the geological tectonics and the hydrogeological condition are complicated. The ground deformed suddenly. The plant biulding had suffered damage of different extent; which affected safety production, under these circumstances the grouting technique was adopted to reinforce the foundaton of the plant biulding. According to the geological tectonics and the hydrogeological condition, we selected the round curtain grouting metheod to close the foundation, which can't only improve the hydrogeological condition but also make the grouting size only diffuse into the foundation under the plant biulding , thus cut down material for grouting. The selection is both effective and economical. The construction sequence and the grouting technology were laid down reasonably. The material for grouting and the technical parameters of grouting were selected meticulously. The standard of quality was carried out strictly in construction. Finally the engineering quality was upto the standard. We had fully reached the expected ends, archieved good results that velocity of the surface subsidence reduced 40%. and the velocity of horizontal movement decreased 70%.
