The Study of Mini-Penetration Test for the Liquefaction of Silt

摘要

Based on numerous tests of laboratory and in situ, this paper studies laboratory mini-penetration test (MPT)and various regulation of MPT blow counts; it discusses the statistical relation between the blow counts of in situ standard penetration test (SPT)and that of laboratory mini-penetration test MPTand furthermore puts forward a new approach that the laboratory MPT may replace in situ SPT for the liquefaction assessment of silt deposit.
