We investigated the excellent example of transportation system in sloped citrus orchard and considered the result from human engineering point of view. Due to the construction of a new road in sloped orchard, the harvest in orchard could now be carried out by trucks, and the necessary time for carrying is greatly reduced about 1/5.4 of the time required by human power, and labor consumed (Joule) became about 1/4.6, too. Since the carrying quantity of crawler-type vehicle for one time was larger, the time for carrying became shorter, showing about 1/2.2 of the case by human power. In the case of monorail, the time required was only about 1/4.5 times the human power.
