In this paper, a new technology of anti-static modification of polymers through irradiation with an electron beam, which meets the requirements of practical use in industry, is introduced. By use of the method of "discontinuity multi-times irradiation", the irradiation modification on polymers such as PTEE and R-PVC etc. by an electron beam is applied, permanent anti-static materials are obtained. For an irradiated material, its surface resistivity is decreased from 10~(14) approx 10~(15) OMEGA to 10~7 approx 10~8 OMEGA, and charge half-value time decreases from a few hours to 0.5 approx 2s. After washing with water frictional tests and ageing for eight years, it is shown that the electrostatic priorities of the sample is almost unchanged.
