Ferroelectric Packed Bed Reactor for Pollution Control in Gases by Cold Plasma

Basic characteristics of the AC energised pellet bed gas cleaner [1] were measured experimentally using a laboratory scale apparatus: a) Generations of ozone, nitride oxides (NO_x) and barium at different specific energy input in the gas and gas flow rate; b) Destruction efficiency for toluene; c) Sterilisation performance of reactor using the reference micro-organisms St.aureas., Penicillium chrysogenum and Bacillus subtilis.
