A Survey of Real-time Multimedia Conference Control Policies

摘要

This paper presents a brief overview of two important real-time multimedia conference control protocols: T.124 and CCCP (Conference Control Channel Protocol). By comparing some conference control mechanisms, we point out the weak points and the good points both of them. On the basis of CCCP combining conference control mechanism of the T.124 standard, we expand CCCP to have meta-conference management. Then we design a conference control system based the expanded CCCP and implicate it in our local area network. The experiment results is valuable for deeper research.
