Technical measures of reducing back flow quantity of a bucket elevator

A bucket elevator is a kind of conveyor for vertical conveying It is widely used in the grain industry . In practice one of the unsatisfactory problems is "back flow". It is the back flow that can make power increased and production capacity decreased ; therefore it is highly important to control back flow quantity and minimize it This paper analyses the back flow in different regions of an elevator and the authors advance the technical measures of reducing the back flow.
