Failure-sensitive product development

摘要

For the realization of product-development-accompanying quality management one of todays research topics is the integration of CAD and CAQ applications. The product development process chain enhanced by integrated failure analysis methods ispresented. On the basis of a neutral product model user-requirements are the input for featurebased product development.Simultaneously feature information is used to perform failure analysis leading to a continuous improvement of the product during the design process.
