MIMAC-He3: MICRO-TPC MATRIX OF CHAMBERSOF 3He

摘要

The project of a micro-TPC matrix of chambers of 3He for direct detectionof non-baryonic dark matter is outlined. The privileged properties of 3He arehighlighted. The double detection (ionization - projection of tracks) will as-sure the electron-recoil discrimination. The complementarity of MIMAC-He3for supersymmetric dark matter search with respect to other experiments isillustrated.The modular character of the detector allows to have different gasesto get A-dependence. The pressure degreee of freedom gives the possibility towork at high and low pressure. The low pressure regime gives the possibilityto get the directionality of the tracks. The first measurements of ionization atvery few keVs for 3He in 4He gas are described.
