THE YUSHUI COPPER DEPOSIT RELATED TO SEAFLOOR HYDROTHERMAL SPOUT-SEDIMENTATION OF LATE PALEOZOIC ERA

摘要

The Yushui copper deposit is an unique type of copper deposit ever found in the Hercy-nian depression zone of Yongmei region. In terms of its genesis there were different opinions. A general characterization of this copper deposit was given based on the study of geology and geochemistry. The limited tertiary basin, the syngenetic fault and the Hercynian seafloor volcanism were found to be principally metallogenic conditions for this deposit. The seafloor hydrothermal spout sedimentary genesis with the ore-forming materials derived from both the mantle and crust origins were confirmed according to the analytic results of REE and various isotopes.
