The International Space Station (ISS) Environmental Control and Life Support System(ECLSS) is continuing to evolve in the post-Space Shuttle era. The ISS vehicle configurationthat is in operation was designed for docking of a Space Shuttle vehicle, and designs currentlyunder development for commercial crew vehicles require different interfaces. The ECLSSTemperature and Humidity Control Subsystem (THC) Inter-Module Ventilation (IMV) mustbe modified in order to support two docking interfaces at the forward end of ISS, to providethe required air exchange. Development of a new higher-speed IMV fan and extensive ductingmodifications are underway to support the new Commercial Crew Vehicle interfaces. Thispaper will review the new ECLSS IMV development requirements, component design andhardware status, subsystem analysis and testing performed to date, and implementation planto support Commercial Crew Vehicle docking.
