摘要

A method for identifying the unknown physical parameters in mechanical systems is presented in this paper. In the method, a multi-d.o.f. (degree of freedom) system will be transformed into several single d.o.f. systems by the concerned eigenvectors. Each single d.o.f. system will solve a pair of unknown physical parameters. For more complicated cases, it will be proved that a particular physical parameter has a stationary value in the neighborhood of an eigenvector. Three examples will be given in this paper to illustrate that the method is effective and efficient in the identification of the physical characteristics of special mechanical parts such as joints and composite material elements.
