A large-scale active vibration isolation floating raft system is described in this paper. Some excitation sources were located on the raft to simulate different marine machines. Four hydraulic actuators in parallel with eighteen BE-400 type passive resilient isolators were placed between the floating raft and a hull-like structure. Using a filtered-x LMS algorithm and offline secondary path modeling, a four-input and four-output adaptive feedforward control strategy was implemented experimentally. At last some results are presented and discussed.
