CIM-oriented computer aided modular fixture design and management system

摘要

A computer aided-modular fixture design and management system which can be used for FMS and CIMS, is presented in this paper. At first some requirements to flexible fixtures and fixturing information system for modern manufacturing system, are proposed. Then, a computer-aided fixture design system and a management information system for dowel-pin based m6dular fixture have been introduced respectively by using the IDEFo function model. A report has also be given about gratifying results of fixturing information system integrated with other departments in CIMS experimental engineering.
