摘要

A mass transfer model has been developed for the calculation of the kinetics of metal/slag/gas reactions, using free-energy minimization to calculate the equilibrium condition at each interface. Unit operations, representing the different phases and interfaces, were connected together using the METSIM software. Experiments on de-P and de-S of molten iron have validated the model.
