Weirton Steel Corporation (WSC) is a 100 percent continous casting integrated steel plant producing a variety of sheet products from hot rolled to tin plate. In January of 1984 WSC become an employee owned company. Presently two blast furnaces are in operation with an average hot metal goal of 6600 tons per day.
